Business was doing very well with solid growth and a corresponding increase in business support requests. In general, the team was growing and very motivated and engaged, however there was an employee struggling to get along with the rest of the team. The situation slowly deteriorated and finally the employee refused to meet neither virtually nor in person with her team members and even the country manager.
The impact on other employees reached a level that could not be ignored and we consulted with Kubota-san. Kubota-san quickly surveyed the situations and developed a solid plan to actively engage with the employee. Kubota-san worked on a weekly basis with the customer service manager and the country manager to discuss the ongoing development.

Kubota-san provided role-play proposals and preparatory advice on interaction with the employee (on emails as well as phone conversations). In less than 4 months the employee resigned and for her own reasons as she had found a new job. The outcome was good for the employee in question, as well as for the team and the company.

We continue to work with Kubota-san on an ongoing basis. At this moment we are working on team building activities focusing on how to be improve internal communication flows.
